Methodology

The basic objective of our courses is to provide students with the ability to communicate in Portuguese. Since the most basic lessons, students are encouraged to talk to Brazilians and interact using the dialogues learnt in the previous classes.

Because real communication is the purpose, classes usually start with common day-to-day dialogues and conversations between foreigners and locals, paying attention to the particularities of oral language.

The specific vocabulary and grammatical points worked out during the classes are always contextualized, that is, they are taken from the dialogues used in classes, which are based in real daily conversations in Brazil.

Classroom and homework activities are prepared for students to practice the abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Allied to these activities, the work with Brazilian national and regional cultures is emphasized through songs, movies, magazines and books.
