December, January and February are sunny and very hot months.
In the afternoons it might get cloudy and some rain or thunderstorm are possible at about sunset.
Average temperatures in this season varies from 21 ºC to 30 ºC (69 ºF to 86 ºF)

In March, April and May rain decreases and the cold gradually increases. The air gets dry with very sunny and hot days, however temperature goes down quickly in the afternoons.
This is when the weather is most pleasant and, interestingly, when the island is not as crowded as it normally is. Average temperatures varies from 18 ºC to 27 ºC (64 ºF to 80 ºF).
Winter months (June, July, August) are mild in Florianópolis and temperatures during the day usually range between 13 ºC to 22 ºC (55 ºF to 71 ºF) .
It is the most dry season in Florianopolis, the days are sunny and evenings a bit cold.
The spring months, September to November, have warm temperatures ranging from approximately 20º C to 30º C (77 ºF to 95 ºF).
It starts raining more than winter time however long periods without rain can be possible.
